Changes to JAA's Auction Service payment method

JAA currently bills customers after a successful bid. However, from October.1.2006 (Japan Time), payments will be required before bidding commences. The following changes will occur with the introduction of the new payment system:

 

  1. In the case that we could not make a successful bid on your item
    JAA will immediately return the entire amount paid after emailing to inform you of an unsuccessful bid. A “Refund your money” email will be sent to you from both JAA and Paypal after you have been completely refunded.

  2. In the case that we could make a successful bid cheaper than your stated price
    JAA will immediately return the total balance owed: the balance of the item price, commission and transaction fee. You will be informed by email when you have been fully refunded.

  3. In the case that the auction closes before you make your payment
    Both your order and the bill for the item will be cancelled. A “Decline your order” email will be sent to your registered email address.
