FedEx dimensional weight calculation is varied from 2010. Please read and understand the following details. Thank you for taking your time.

Effective 18th January 2010, FedEx will implement a revised formula by which the Dimensional Weight (Volumetric Weight) of shipments are calculated. The dimension divisor will be changed from 6,000cc/kg to 5,000cc/kg and apply to all countries in Asia Pacific.

With the general increase in operating costs over the years, it had become necessary for this Dimensional Weight (Volumetric Weight) calculation change.

The new formula to derive the Dimensional Weight (Volumetric Weight) for a shipment will be:

Length(cm) x Width(cm) x Height(cm)
5,000cc/kg
